Panthers shut out in a pitchers duel, fall 1-0.

Another pitchers duel for Oak's second game of the Cy-Fair tournament. Cy-Fair's pitcher retired the first 12 Oak batters but Ethan Carnes held the fort for Oak and kept the game scoreless through 5.

In the 6th inning Oak had their best chance to score. Cody Emerson reached on an error and then stole second on a missed pick off at first. Kaleb Goodell bunted Cody over to third so with one out Oak were threatening with a runner on third. Unfortunately Oak couldn't convert the run and the opportunity was missed.

Cy-Fair responded in the bottom of the 6th by advancing a runner to third with one out but unlike Oak they managed to bring the runner home and took a slender 1 run lead into the 7th.

In the 7th Oak were unable to put any runners on base and Cy-Fair edged a close one 1-0.
